Announced by Basin Uranium this year (2025) the Wolf Canyon project is composed of 1600 acres of mining claims.  It is about ten miles east of Edgemont and east of Highway 18.  Union Carbide also drilled in this area in the 1970s.

Basin Uranium is now owned by Nexus Uranium Corp as of Sept. 16, 2025

The Wolf Canyon project is located 10 miles east of Edgemont, South Dakota and accessible via US Highway 18. The project is located 8 miles to the southeast of the Chord project

We will continue to work to stop uranium mining from returning to the Black Hills.  Uranium mining companies were driven out of the Black Hills in the 1980s, and we can do it again!
