ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION OPEN
Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Hours: Flexible. Full-time. There is some weekend and evening work.
Location: Black Hills; Generally remote, with weekly meetings in Rapid City; Travel in the Black Hills and nearby areas.
Key Responsibilities and Duties: The person in this position will work on a number of tasks, which may include:
- assist with event planning, coordination, and participation
- handle a variety of information in electronic and physical systems
- support the development, printing, and distribution of written materials and reports
- order and maintain office and event supplies
- track social media and website activities
- input electronic information
- basic bookkeeping
- other duties as assigned in a fluid work environment.
Academic, Work Skills, and Other Qualifications: A successful person in this position will have this training, skills, and interests:
- A strong interest in protecting Black Hills water and downstream communities
- Good communication skills, including both written and oral communication
- Ability to collect administrative information and keep accurate records
- Ability to relate to a variety of types of people
- Well-organized and able to make the decisions needed to handle varied tasks in a work day
- Work well both independently and as a team member
- High school diploma or GED
- Solid keyboarding skills and computer literacy
- Ability to maintain professional behavior
