This year we will be celebrating this International call to protect water on March 23 at Aby’s at 406 5th Street in Rapid City from 1-4 pm. Join us for some Entertainment, Speakers, Refreshments, and our Silent Auction.
WWD 2024’s THEME IS “Water for Peace.” – Water can create peace or spark conflict. When water is scarce or polluted, or when people have unequal, or no access, tensions can rise between communities and countries. – United Nations
Check out some of the awesome auction items we have this year. Handmade quilts, Tea for Two Crate, Vegan Leather Hobo Bag, Native Design Fleece Blankets, Books, Jewelry Set, and more! Bidding starts at 1:30 – 3:30 PM. We’ll keep adding new items as they come in.
SIDE NOTE: We will be holding a Protect Water Sign Action on Friday, March 22 at 5:00 PM at Halley Park at 1515 West Blvd. Rapid City. Join us to help hold up signs and banners to show your love for Black Hills water.
