What Is the Pactola – Rapid Creek Mineral Withdrawal?

Pactola Reservoir is located in the Black Hills of South Dakota and is feed by the upper Rapid Creek watershed.

A mineral withdrawal REMOVES the possibility of exploration drilling or mining in an area.  So the Pactola – Rapid Creek mineral withdrawal STOPS potential exploration drilling or mining on over 20,000 acres of the Black Hills for 20 years.  Specifically, this stops the Jenny Gulch gold drilling project from moving forward.

Your calls are needed by Tuesday, February 18.  Call 202-208-3100, option 3 TODAY.  There’s no time to lose!  And remember to keep trying to get through!
