World Water Day is a time to reflect on the importance of water throughout our world and is dedicated to freshwater preservation. This year’s global theme is ‘Glacier Preservation’

“Glaciers are critical to life – their meltwater is essential for drinking water, agriculture, industry, clean energy production and healthy ecosystems.” -United Nations.
