This is the Decision Memo from James Gubbels, the Forest Service’s District Ranger for the Mystic Ranger District, about the Golden Meadows gold exploration project near Rockerville.  According to the Forest Service, the project can move ahead.  Besides reading this document to find out why, you can read all of our comments and the Forest Service’s replies.  Reading this is a good way to see how the Forest Service looks at things and the issues it considers — and ignores.
