JOIN OUR FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS AND SAY YES TO A MINERAL CLAIMS WITHDRAWAL IN THE BLACK HILLS.

#HeSapaNext!

SAY YES TO THE PROPOSED MINERAL CLAIMS WITHDRAWAL TODAY TO PROTECT WATER AND WILDLIFE TOMORROW.

Here are some of our four-legged friends who are on the Endangered Species list – the Black-Footed Ferrets – letting you know about the Mineral Claims Withdrawal. They’ll tell you why #HeSapaNext and how important this is to them, and us humans, too. But remember, you only have until June 20th to submit your comment to the Forest Service. Let’s protect these endangered species, as well as other wildlife, for 20 years, and beyond. Please read on, take action, and share. Thank you.

Interesting fact: Black-footed ferrets are considered one of the rarest animals in North America. These animals, native to our region, were reintroduced to the Black Hills in the Wind Cave National Park began in 2007.
