Map of some of Dakota Territory Resource Corp.’s gold claims in the Deadwood-Lead area.  The total area impacted is about 42 square miles — and they have staked more claims since this information was made available.  The “blank” area to the west of Lead and north of Terry Peak includes claims from other companies and the Wharf gold/silver mine, the only operating large-scale gold mine in the state, which covers a large area.  Other companies’ claims are also being mapped.  Watch for more information soon.
